Alan’s portfolio reflects one his primary motivations as a venture capital investor, which is to disrupt the healthcare sector – and nowhere is this more evident than in some of his early-stage investments in the development of pioneering medical procedures such as kidney stone transplants.

Alan is also the inventor of the Jurassic Diet – an innovative approach to healthy eating inspired by the evolutionary dominance of the dinosaurs during the Jurassic Period, and described in his bestselling books “The T-Rex Salad Bar” and “Eat Like There’s An Asteroid Coming”.
